Wagon Races - The Video

I have been meaning the upload this video for a while now. I love the first 10 seconds when T&M take off and Weston tries to stand up in the wagon. It just goes to show you that nothing is every easy with twins, but it is a lot of fun. I will do a post about their birthday this weekend. Happy Thursday (end of the work week for me)!

Twin Races

Not the best quality photograph I have ever taken (I am holding the video camera with my left hand and got it in the picture), but the kids faces just say it all! Weston and Marissa are pushing, with Carson and Taylor ridding. We had the little ones push the bigger ones knowing full well they would be faster. And Marissa didn't disappoint! She basically ran towards her awaiting Daddy and smoked Weston. Weston did tell me after the race that he would like to see Marissa push Carson, then that would be a real race :) Nice Weston. Then we switched "drivers" and Carson was able to pull ahead. It was a pretty funny sight! So if you have ever wondered what twin parents do when they get together, this just gives you an idea. I won't even go into the bedtime routine that followed, lets just say all four of us were very busy wrangling kids into diapers and pajamas and giving them bottles. Nobody had time to video then unfortunately. Thanks Whites for hosting, you guys are the best!

11 Months

The best we could do these days, they are too busy for pictures (luckily Aunt Katie helped)

The boys are now 11 months! Wow, how time has flown by. The boys will be 1 year old this month. We are planning a western birthday party for them on Sunday, March 27th (their actual birthday). Some of the things they are up to today include:

jumping in their cribs

jumping in the pack and play

crawling at turbo speed

opening cabinets

trying to get in Jasper's water dish

putting their fingers in my mouth (they are obsessed with my teeth)

swimming lessons at the YMCA

dancing to music (mainly Weston)

Weston holds his own bottle

pushing their walker wagon at turbo speed and then fussing when it hits the wall or furniture

they both have 4 teeth and are working on their 5th

Carson has super human baby strength when you try to take anything away from him, especially cell phones or remotes

surf in their bouncers

use their bouncers to climb on the couch

are basically the cutest, sweetest, busiest little boys any two parents would ask for!!!!
