Just this evening Carson too joined the walking club. Before both boys would practically run while you were holding their hands and also walk a couple steps if you coached them to. But until recently neither one of them had any interest in walking on their own. They have now finally started to take some steps by themselves. And it has now kind of snowballed from there. Enjoy the video of my Carson. Man, that kids give it his all. I took one video where he literally ran for two steps and then did a face plant into the carpet. Seriously that guy cracks me up.

Weston showed HUGE improvements in walking tonight. He finally attempts to walk on his own. For a while he has been basically running holding on to one of my hands. So he is VERY capable of walking, he just doesn't really want to. So tonight he finally put some things together and did some great walking! And brother is right behind him.

So the boys were only 6 weeks old last Mother's Day, so this time around it was much more fun. Saturday night we went to dinner to celebrate at The Old Spaghetti Factory (my favorite restaurant, and after Saturday, definitely the boys' as well). We all had a blast and then enjoyed a quick walk around downtown before we had to head home to get ready for bed. I was also given a very nice card where each boy specifically wrote to me about what he appreciates. My sister, Katie, sent me flowers and I got cards from my Grandpa and Grandma and Billy's parents. I felt so loved today! I hope that all of you mamas out there had a wonderful day as well! Enjoy the video below. Weston was in rare form after dinner on Saturday, but we didn't get much of his antics caught on tape unfortunately. But we did get some early signs of walking, finally! Seriously, I love that he did this for the camera, good job bud!

Twin Talk - C'mon Today Show!
